国际高等教育研究机构QS10日公布2013/2014年度“QS世界大学排名”，美国麻省理工学院击败“同胞”哈佛大学和英国剑桥大学，蝉联榜首。中国大陆共有7所大学位列前200名，其中北京大学、清华大学和复旦大学进入前100名。   　　麻省理工学院二次夺魁   　　这份新出炉的榜单显示，美英在高等教育领域仍处于领先地位，来自这两个国家的大学瓜分了前十名的席位。   　　美国麻省理工学院第二次夺魁，延续去年的荣耀。美国哈佛大学名列第二，排名比去年上升一位。第三名至第六名全部为英国的大学。剑桥大学表现最佳，位列第三，其后依次是伦敦大学学院、帝国理工学院和牛津大学。美国斯坦福大学表现抢眼，从去年的第15名升至今年的第七，其后是美国耶鲁大学、美国芝加哥大学。美国加州理工学院和美国普林斯顿大学并列第十。在榜单前20名中，美国的大学共有11所，英国为6所；在前100名中，美国的大学略少于三分之一，英国为19所。   　　香港大学名列第二十六位   　　尽管排名前20位的大学中依然没有亚洲地区高等学府的身影，但在排名前400的大学中，亚洲地区学府占据62席。新加坡国立大学在亚洲地区的大学中排名最前，位列排行时榜第24名。中国香港大学列第26名。   　　中国大陆今年共有7所大学进入前200名。排名最前的是北京大学，列第46名；其后是清华大学，48名；复旦大学，88名；上海交通大学，123名；浙江大学，165名；中国科学技术大学，174名；南京大学，175名。   　　调查使用6项评比指标  　　国际高等教育研究机构QS自2004年开始进行世界大学排名调查，被认为是最具影响力的全球大学排名之一。调查使用6项评比指标，分别是学术界人士评比（占40%）、雇主评比（10%）、外籍教师人数及外籍学生人数（10%）、教师与学生的比例（20%）、教师研究报告被引用次数（20%）。“QS世界大学排名”官网说，今年共有超过6.2万名学术界人士和近2.8万名企业雇主参与调查。
